Pregilates & Mumilates

The Pregilates and Mumilates Workouts are 50-minute programs designed specifically for Mothers to be and new Mothers. Created and taken by highly skilled Physiotherapists these workouts are designed to guide you through your pregnancy and beyond.

All the techniques used are gentle and non-invasive and specifically designed for the treatment of pregnant and antenatal women. Whether you are joining us during your pregnancy or following the birth of your baby our Physiotherapists will assess your individual needs and adapt your program accordingly. Our sessions are small, fun and relaxing.

Our pregilates classes are designed to guide you through this exciting time during pregnancy with low-impact exercises that strengthen the deep abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, improve your wellbeing and reduce the physical impact pregnancy has on your body.

Oh and one of the greatest things about Mumilates is that babies come too! Our mumilates classes are designed to help you return to activity following the birth of your child in a supported environment with other mums and bubs with the common goal of regaining overall body strength and flexibility.

Exercises are based around pilates floor exercises incorporating other small apparatus such as foam rollers, swiss balls, magic circles, resistance bands etc.

Please bring a pair of socks to all classes; Pilates socks and Xtend Barre socks are available for purchase at Reception within Waterfront Health Studio.

All classes at Waterfront Heath Studio require a prior booking. We recommend booking your classes well in advance to avoid missing out.

Cancellation/non-attendance fee: a minimum of 12 hours notice is required if unable to attend your session. A fee of $15 will be charged to your account for non-attendance.
